Well Im bored at work so figured I'd post some pics of my vehicles
1972 bug Ive had this car for almost 13 years and just cant let it go, though I rarely drive it, and actually need to tear it apart again.
behind it is my 59 that started out looking like this
finished and sold so I could buy my 57 panel
57 (not me in pic..just some local drunk at the garage I rented
57 sold and headed to england
now I have this 59 single cab...OG Postal yellow paint 40k og miles but a northeast bus so its got its rust issues. Pretty much just went through the brakes and replaced everything. Had some bad sections of the frame replaced and fixed a couple of other bad spots. other wise its all original and not changing much...oh yeah it has a big nut trans and 1600, also now 12 volt
day it was delivered
now
moving the gf to her new apt.
And currently taking up my garage space is this 72 camper
torn apart trying to get it ready to primer/paint unless someone wants to buy it
and my trustly daily ride 85 westy

Great collection of vehilces. I love the 'postal yellow' single. Different color, but seems to have a lot of 'character', just like Ted's.
I think I may have seen that "Foxon Park" bus on the UK "splitscreen" site. In not, I've definitely seen pics of it on 'the samba' at some point in the past. Very unique, diverse and interesting collection. _________________ It's me, Sean

As the other folks said, cool collection. I have just one question, how the h e l l do you have time to keep all those vehicles on the road? _________________ Long Live The Legend of "Stupid Guy" |

What was cool about the S/C, was how he repaired the rocker panel under the driver's side bed of the truck, and blended it in. Nice job of matching the patina! _________________ "I'm a penny waiting for change".

good eye...I couldnt stand that nasty rocker after I peeled off the pop rivited sheet metal so I welded in a gerson rocker and did very little work to blend it..its pretty obvious in person cause the paint match is off but no paint store here can match anything. I plan to actually get some new paint mixed but its not a priority anything is better than what it was.
As for keeping them on the road..Im down to 4 just have the 1 72 beetle the single, may driver and the 72 camper. Really only 2 are on the road. Im gonna redo the beetle again over the summer as its sat in my drive way in the weather for the past 4 or 5 years and is looking worse than I want it to. And the 72 may see the road sometime in the spring then I'll prolly sell something and get something new to work on. |

Its a shame that 72 camper has such bad shocks, and is sitting so low. It looks like Aaron got ahold of it. _________________ "I'm a penny waiting for change".
